Ordering & Payment
Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
No — there's no MOQ on custom orders. We welcome single-piece prototypes and small trial runs so you can qualify a part before scaling to production. It's the safest, lowest-risk way to start.
Can I order just one piece or a very small quantity?
Yes. With no MOQ, you can order a single magnet or a small batch — ideal for prototyping or qualifying a new design. When you're ready to scale, the same spec moves straight into volume production.
What payment methods and terms do you accept?
Our standard term is a 30% deposit with the 70% balance by T/T (bank transfer) before shipment. This protects both sides. For repeat customers we can discuss other arrangements.
Do you accept small trial or prototype orders?
Yes. Prototyping and small trial orders are encouraged — it's the safest way to validate grade, coating, and dimensions before committing to volume. See our ordering process.
Samples, Quotes & Lead Time
Can I get a free sample?
Yes — we can provide free samples of standard items, with shipping paid on delivery or in advance. For high-value or fully custom parts a sample fee may apply. It's a low-risk way to check our quality first.
How long does it take to get a quote?
You can expect a reply within 24 hrs To get an accurate quote fast, include dimensions, grade (or operating temperature), coating, magnetization direction, and quantity. Not sure of the grade? Use our grade selector.
What is the lead time for a custom order?
Lead time depends on complexity and quantity. Many custom orders ship in a few weeks; complex or large-volume parts can take up to 1–2 months, while orders we can fill from existing material move faster. We'll confirm a firm date with your quote.
Do you have a product catalog?

Customization & Engineering
Can you make magnets from my drawing, sample, or application?
Yes — this is our core strength. Send a drawing, an existing sample, target dimensions, or just describe the application, and we'll recommend grade, coating, magnetization, and tolerances. See custom neodymium magnets.
What sizes can you produce?
From a few millimetres up to around 160 mm in standard production — discs, blocks, rings, arcs and more — with micro magnets and oversized parts available by project. Send your dimensions and we'll confirm feasibility.
What dimensional tolerances can you hold?
Standard sintered NdFeB carries about ±0.1 mm; we can hold ±0.05 mm on precision work and tighter on micro parts. Tighter tolerance adds cost, so we recommend specifying it only where it matters. More in our glossary.
Can you do custom shapes and magnetization directions?
Yes — arc, block, disc, ring and special shapes, magnetized axially, diametrically, radially, or in multipole patterns. Specify the magnetization direction on your drawing.
Can you supply magnetic assemblies, not just loose magnets?
Yes. We produce magnets encased in steel (pot magnets), motor rotor assemblies, and other bonded or mechanical assemblies. See customized magnet solutions.
Do you offer engineering or grade-selection support?
Yes — especially early in development. Sharing your operating temperature, field target, and environment lets us match the grade and coating before you spend on tooling, cutting repeated prototyping. Start with the grade selector.

Grades & Materials
What magnet grade should I choose?
It depends on the strength you need, your worst-case operating temperature, and budget. As a rule, the number is strength and the suffix is heat tolerance. Use our NdFeB grade chart and selector, or read the grades explainer.
What's the difference between neodymium, samarium cobalt, and ferrite?
Neodymium (NdFeB) is the strongest. Samarium cobalt (SmCo) is slightly weaker but handles much higher heat and corrosion. Ferrite is the cheapest and most corrosion-resistant but far weaker. See the material comparison on our grade page.
At what temperature do NdFeB magnets demagnetize?
It depends on the grade. Standard neodymium starts to lose magnetism above about 80°C; higher temperature classes (M/H/SH/UH/EH/AH) hold up to ~230°C. Within the rated maximum operating temperature, loss is recoverable; beyond it, it's permanent.
Do neodymium magnets lose strength over time?
Very little. As long as they're not overheated, demagnetized by an opposing field, or corroded, neodymium magnets lose well under 1% of their strength per decade — not noticeable without instruments.
Can neodymium magnets be machined, drilled, or cut?
Not recommended. Sintered neodymium is hard and brittle, so machining tends to chip or crack it, and the heat generated can demagnetize it — or even ignite the powder. Specify final dimensions and any holes, chamfers, or threads up front and we machine them before magnetizing and coating.
What is the unit of magnetic force?
Magnetic flux density is measured in Gauss (Gs) or millitesla (mT), where 1 mT = 10 Gs (and 1 Tesla = 10,000 Gs). More units explained in our glossary.
How can I increase magnetic force without changing the material?
Channel the flux. Encasing the magnet in a steel cup (a pot magnet) concentrates the field on the working face, and a steel backing plate or yoke increases effective thickness and pull. These circuit tricks often beat simply upgrading the grade.
For the same thickness, does a larger diameter increase or decrease focused force?
A larger diameter at the same thickness spreads the field over a bigger area, so the focused (per-area) force drops — but total holding force rises because of the larger contact area. Which matters depends on whether your application needs concentrated field or overall pull.
Coatings, Quality & Testing
How do different surface treatments compare?
Zinc is the budget option; nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni triple layer) is the durable default and passes longer salt-spray tests; epoxy (usually black) adds extra oxidation protection; and specialty finishes like parylene, PTFE or gold suit medical and harsh environments. Full list in our glossary.
Which coating should I choose for outdoor or humid conditions?
For moisture, humidity, or marine exposure, choose epoxy or a composite finish (e.g. Ni-Cu-Ni + epoxy) and specify a salt-spray requirement (such as 48/72/96 hours). Tell us the environment and we'll recommend the coating stack and its rating.
Do you provide test reports and certificates?
Yes — we can supply demagnetization curves, dimensional inspection reports, and material data on request, and we verify Br, Hcj and dimensions per batch.
Are you ISO certified?
Yes. Our quality system is certified to ISO 9001, and we work to IATF 16949 (automotive) requirements, with RoHS and REACH compliance available for parts shipping into regulated markets.
How is magnetization done, and how do you test it meets spec?
Magnetization is achieved by passing a brief, intense current pulse through a coil to create a strong field. We then verify with professional instruments — a gauss meter for surface field and a fluxmeter for total flux — to confirm the part meets your specification.
Shipping, Packaging & Compliance
Which countries do you ship to, and on what terms?
We ship worldwide. Our standard terms are FOB Hong Kong, Shenzhen, or Zhuhai; you can use our freight services or your own forwarder. Other Incoterms can be arranged on request.
How are magnets packaged for export?
Strong magnets are packaged with steel shielding and keeper plates so the external field is contained, protecting handlers, equipment, and other cargo during international transit. Packing follows your requirements where specified.
Can neodymium magnets be shipped by air?
Yes. Magnets are shielded and packed so the residual external field meets IATA air-transport limits. For larger or higher-grade shipments we use additional steel shielding to keep them within those limits.
Do you provide RoHS and REACH documentation?
Yes — RoHS and REACH/SVHC declarations are available as standard for shipments into the EU and other regulated markets. Missing paperwork is a common cause of customs delays, so request it with your order.
How do you handle rare-earth export controls (Dy/Tb licensing)?
High-temperature grades containing dysprosium or terbium can fall under China's 2025 dual-use export controls. We source heavy rare earth through licensed channels and prepare the country-of-origin, end-use, and conflict-mineral documentation, then guide you through the license application. How do you protect our drawings and intellectual property?
We treat customer drawings and specifications as confidential and are happy to work under an NDA. Your designs are used only to produce your parts.
